Waterware: invoice extraction

Waterware, a New Zealand supplier, was typing supplier invoices into its system by hand. Together with IT360 we automated that step.

What we built

A workflow that reads each invoice, pulls the line items, checks them against the order, and files the record.

Invoices that do not match stop and wait for a person. Nothing is filed until it has been read correctly.

What changed

About twenty hours a week of typing gone, and fewer errors reaching the ledger.
